1st +opk in 1st clomid round =

Major BD fail!! I had a +opk yesterday afternoon so I figured we would for sure BD last night. So I ask FI, in my sexy voice, if he wants to "go to bed." He told me no. He said he was too tired. Ahhhh!! So long story short, I cried, he got mad and there was no BDing last night. But I did convince him to BD this morning. Now my question for you lovely ladies is do you think missing the first day of a +opk is going to doom me for this cycle? For some reason I just feel like this cycle is over for us now. Oh the joys of TTCAL, gotta love it.

I'm sorry - BD fails just suck

I don't think you're doomed. A +opk means you are having your LH surge, and doesn't always mean you O on the day of a +opk, especially a 1st +opk. Do you know if you O'd yesterday for sure? For example, I O'd yesterday, but had my first +opk of this cycle the day before, and continued to have a +opk yesterday as well. I will usually do an opk more often after I detect my first +. If I get a + in the afternoon, I'll test again at night, and then the next morning until I get a negative - this way I know when my surge is over.

Now, I don't know if the Clomid changes any of that, but I would imagine not - a surge is a surge. I think you should be fine, especially since you BD'd this morning

No way is it over!! You usually don't O until 12-48 hours after a + OPK so you're still good. Just keep BDing!

I don't think I actually O'd yesterday. No ewcm, just watery still. My temps are off due to lack of sleep. This morning I did have a little bit of, what I thought might be, O pain. So I guess only time will tell. Thanks for the positive reinforcement though. I think the clomid is making me a little crazy. LOL

Thanks!! I think I fell off the rocker last night with my meltdown. I didn't have any clomid side effects until last night. Holy emotional!! LOL

meltdowns are my MO these days- same thing happened to us- with tears twice over the last two days- as +OPK on thursday and BD but then BD fail the last two days- sigh...i hope you aren't out----

def not over! You are fine. FF would still give you a good rating bc you do not ovulate until 12-48 sometimes as late as 72 hours. You are good to go!

Thanks again, girls!!! I just checked my cervix is really high and soft still and I had some ewcm. So today might actually be the day. Mini meltdown is over. LOL
