TTC After a Loss

So I took your advice...

And we're waiting one cycle to TTC.  But I wanted to start charting to get in the habit of it.  Question: Do you think taking your temp at different times of day matter as long as its after a few hours of sleep?  And do you chart CM?  I dunno what's sticky or watery or whatever! lol.  Kind of takes the mood away when my fiance checks for me lol.

I suggest reading Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler. It will answer most of your questions. I read it before I started charting and it's been really helpful. Good luck!

    This exactly!!

This.  Once you start, checking CM is actually really easy.

It does matter if you temp at different times. It's suggested that you temp at the same time everyday, and that you temp after at least 3 hours (I think it's 3 hours, but maybe it's 4 hours) of sleep, so that your temperature reaches its lowest possible. So you should try to find a time in the morning that would work for you everyday. For example, I temp at 4:30am everyday, even on weekends. That's because most of the days out of the week, I'm up that early anyway. On the weekends, I'm not up that early, but I set my alarm to temp, but then go back to sleep. Good luck!

I don't know that taking my temps will work for me.  I work nights three nights a week and switch to days or afternoon the other four.  theres really never a time I am always sleeping...
