Hi girls! We have been TTC #2 for a year now, and after multiple CP's and an early loss we have a HB! On Monday we measured 6w2d and saw the heart flickering away at 117bpm. This u/s was with my RE and he will see me again in 2 weeks. My OB has been so supportive and helpful throughout my journey so she wants to see me on Tuesday. So pretty much I will be getting an u/s every week for a few weeks and I am not complaining! But after feeling so much relief on Monday I am already getting anxious again that something has happened. Seriously?? I can't even go one week without worrying ![]()
How are you girls staying calm/positive between appointments? I can't wait until we are far enough along to get a home doppler. With DS we heard it at 9.5 weeks, so just 2.5 more weeks to go!! That will help, I hope.
Thanks, hopefully I will get to stick around this time!
Re: Cautious intro, and how do you stay calm btwn u/s?
Congratulations! I had appts and u/s every week until 20 weeks with the pregnancy and I didn't stop worrying in between appts until I started feeling him move. It stinks but I think it's just reality. The doppler did help, unless I couldn't find the heartbeat, then I panicked! But, I eventually did find it:)
I hope the next few weeks fly so that you feel a bit at ease!
