lurking...9 mo appt question

Do they get shots at their 9 month appt? I was just leaving our pedi and scheduling our 9 month appt and I asked the nurse and she said yes. I didn't think so, so I asked again and she said yes again. I think she is wrong because I went to the cdc site and it says 2, 4, 6, 12....

Was she just confused? or am I missing something?

    LO had 2 shots...flu shot and a vaccine he missed at 4 months.  Usually at the 9 month appointment, there are no vaccines given.

    My LO just had her first flu shot, no others. Maybe your pedi is following an adapted vaccine schedule? I'd ask if they have a list of vaccines by month for your reference next time you're there.

    My dd got the last Hep B at her 9 month visit. Long with the first flu shot and a prick on the toe to check her blood for lead (I think thats what it was... or it was her liver? Now I'm drawing a blank)

    DS just got his flu shot and a toe prick to check his iron and what not.

    Rowan had 4.  He was technically one week shy of 9 months.  It depends on the vaccination schedule they have him on.  Now Rowan won't get any shots until April.
