December 2010 Moms

We're on our way home from the hospital

And I've been relegated to the back seat. We started out with Honor in her car seat and DH and I up front. She was too quiet--DH couldn't stand it, so he asked me if I'd get in the back seat sit with her :). I've never known my husband to be a worrywart. :). And she's fine--out like a light.

Re: We're on our way home from the hospital

  • Mr.MM had me sit in the back seat on the way home too. When we went for my doctor appointment I sat up front and he asked me if that was safe.

Hehe. Men. I had to ask him what he expected me to do when I had to drive by myself. Not like I can drive from the backseat can I?

  • It's so cute how over-protective new daddies are!

    This is really funny.

I'm usually the driver of our family so I could see driving us back from the hospital with DH in the back, other than the fact that I'll probably not want to do that given recovery, etc (esp if we unexpectedly need to have a c-section or something!!) I do bet that whoever is not driving will want to go in the back because I'm sure we'll both be a little obsessive in those first few moments/days.

  • Congrats on bringing baby home, so exciting! I have to admit, I'm a tad jelous, you're doing right now exactly what I'm daydreaming of. Your DH is a worrier, but it's sweet!
