XP: Low, Shooting Pains

I am getting random shooting pains, pretty low almost under my pubic bone. Anyone else getting this? Anything to be concerned about?

Since I had a LEEP 5 years ago my Dr just told me to be conscious of pain or pressure that might indicate my cervix not remaining closed. I am not even really sure where I would feel cervical pain/pressure.

  • I get those too.  I haven't had a LEEP but my doctor said it was just my uterus growing.

  • I had the LEEP about 20 years ago. I get those low shooting pains too and my doc said it was just my uterus growing. I haven't had any cervical issues so far.

  • I get a lot of random shooting pains in my lower abdomen, because I have several large fibroids.  DD was sideways and would kick my cervix a lot.  The pain I had then felt like it was right above my vagina (the only way I can think to describe it is when you have to pee really badly and you have the pressure and feel like the bottom of your bladder is about to drop out.) That's the area that hurt when she was kicking my cervix.
  • I was having some pains liek the ones you describe a few weeks ago.  I have had 2 D&C's in 2010, which can cause incompetent cervix so my OB did a cervical check.  Everything was fine and she said it was just growing pains.
