Headache, is tylenol safe?

Recently I been having some headaches. Today I have had this headache that comes and goes. I read in a previous post that some of your doctors said that tylenol extra strength is safe, but my question is how many milligrams? I have some 500 mg, is that safe? Usually one 200 mg takes away. Right now my headache is gone, but I want to know in case it comes back or for the future. Thanks.

    Tylenol ES is 500mg per tablet/capsule. My doctor said it was okay to take the Tylenol ES. I've heard to only take one at a time (read somewhere online), but I've also heard to follow the instructions on the bottle (what my doctor told me). If 200mg normally works for you, you can take the regular Tylenol if you have it. If not, you can take one Tylenol ES and go from there.

    Yes, Tylenol is safe, as it's acetaminophen. The doctor never specified what kind.. I follow the directions on the bottle, but really try to take them only if absolutely necessary.
