Today would have been my grandmother's 85th birthday. This morning I woke and and swore I could smell her perfume. G slept in a little and I heard him wake up and start chattering and laughing. I looked in and he was waving up at the corner of the ceiling and smiling.
I went in to his room and jokingly said 'Who came to visit you today?' He kept waving at the same spot. So we ended up singing happy birthday to the ceiling...
Re: Does this make me crazy?
Go Phils!!
nope not crazy!! I love stories like that! my grandfather dies 1 year 6 months to the day before m was born... he never got to meet him but from the time he could smile if he saw a picture of him he would get the biggest smile...
just yesterday i put him in his crib and he yelled papap papap... i said papap can't help you get out silly he is in heaven! he just laughed then yelled papap again...
kids know things we don't
I'll second that "kids know things we don't"!
Doesn't make you crazy at all! It is a cute story also, and you know they say children are closer to "that world" than this one (now you just go ahead and think I'm crazy, lol) I believe it though.
Me, too
Go Phils!!
Me three. I was explaining to DH about my theories on reincarnation and coming to earth for reasons that you plan before coming. I think babies come from somewhere where all their past family lives so they are more connected with that world and can see and hear the spirits from it. Time and social norms decrease the ability in most.
DH looked at me like I had three heads...
