What do YOU want for Christmas?

I'm a board hog tonight. Which is weird because it's been eons since I've had anything worth while to contribute.

What are you asking for Christmas?

The last few years have been rough financially so I usually tell DH not to worry about me, let's just get our DD and now DS something...but DH usually keeps asking and I can figure out a few small things. 

This year has been horrible as far as finances, had DS in January, was hospitalized, diagnosed with thyroid problems, one medical bill from one specialist to another, moved....Christmas really snuck up on me!

So I haven't even considered what I want and when DH asked tonight I literally couldn't think of a single thing other than time for the two of us, which is a tall order these days! I couldn't even think of anything to get DH. I used Kohl's cash and some great coupons and bought him a bunch of new shirts (woo hoo!) and the Lego Creationary game from the kids and that's about it. I didn't spend a lot and I know he'll be happy, it just doesn't feel very thought out or "right."

What are YOU asking for?

    I really don't want anything. I mean, we just bought a new house and we're going to buy a new car for me. That's absolutely more than enough. I'd rather spend the money on the twins or keep the money to buy stuff for the house.

    That's kind of my feeling too. I feel like the bad stuff is passed and we got the kids things--so....

    But DH wont' let it go and I just feel kind of apathetic or something this year.

    I got a brand new Odyssey earlier this year. But I don't really consider it mine though. It was a need and for convenience.

    What do I want for Christmas? I want an SLR camera. Unfortunately I still need to do a lot of research to figure out which is best for my needs. So I'm sure I'll end up getting it after Christmas. The photography instructor at the local college recommended the Nikon D7000, but I still want to do further research to mak sure it's the best choice for me.

    Picture frames! Great idea! 

    My husband had pro shots done of the kids when DS was just sitting up as my birthday present (in July) and, the shots are amazing, I just haven't had the time to get them framed.

    We also have newborn pictures of DS we need to frame and pro pics of our family before DS came along.

    Our walls are bare! LOL.

    I really need some new work clothes.  Mine are looking pretty ratty lately, I actually have one pair of pants that I tightened with a safety pin.  My mom and I are going shopping tomorrow.

    The majority of my Christmas list was stuff for C.  I had a few books on there and a Kindle (which isn't likely to happen, but it would be nice, lol), but nothing major.

    I am getting a gym membership. It was my idea, and I really want to get back into exercise. I would also love some kitchen gadgets, and my dad is getting me a new digital camera. But everything else I want is actually for LO.

    I WANT a ton of things... Like these Vera Wang shoes I fell in love with the other day, MAC brush set and Aqua Di Gio perfume... but I kept my list to myself, because we can only afford gifts for the kids. Boo!

    The new aqua di gio? I wear the old version and I LOVE it. It's still about $40.00 for a small bottle though. I had to buy some before Christmas because it really is my "signature scent" or at least the one I can stand (a lot of perfumes are too heavy or strong and I can smell them all day and it gives me a headache). 

    So my DH was bummed he couldn't get a bottle for me. I was kind of hoping with the new one that the old edition would go down in price or show up in the small perfume section at Target/Walmart for less. :)

    I want a DSLR camera, Photo Printer, 2 new pairs of Uggs -- I want the sparkle Uggs and Classic Tall, which are the ones I always get, Philosophy The Gingerbread Girl body wash and lotion set, Isotoner gloves, Bling Flirt Steelers Jersey, VS Steelers bling comfy pants and sweatshirt, VS Slipper Socks, and Vera Bradley Diaper Bag in Symphony in Hue.

    I really don't or want anything this year.  DH just got me a Kindle for my birthday so, when family has asked I've told them Amazon gift cards would be great so that I can buy more books.

    The only other thing I could think of would be some winter clothes.  My wardrobe is pitiful!
