Side boob hurts

Anyone ever have this? The sides of my boobs hurt and I don't know why. With period it is usually the center. Now on both my boobs the sides closest to my arm pits hurt, Its sore and I don't know why. I am not pregnant and I don't have a period because I quit the depo shot about 6 months ago. (it still hasnt returned) Should I be worried?

    When I had mastitis it was that location that hurt....

    Could it be your lymph nodes? Maybe getting sick?

    Did you do something to cause it to be sore, like a different type of workout?  My whole body hurt after shoveling, but especially my arm pit area (and my butt and back).

    I know it is not a sore from exercise, it comes and goes. My hubby did say it felt a little lumpy so maybe it is a lymph node...
