TTC again...Ovulation question

I have the clear blue easy fertility monitor and according to my calender I should ovulate this Saturday on the 11th. Which is day CD 20 (I have 32 day cycles and I use to ovulate between days 18-20) My monitor showed its Peak on Cycle day 11 which is about a week early for me to ovulate. This is the first cycle we are TTC since our DD was born so maybe my ovulation days have changed? Anyone else ovulate early?

    are you charting, or checking your cervix?

    some of those opk's are really sensitive and you need to make sure the line is as dark or darker than the constant line to be positive. it's not like a pregnancy test where a line is a line. good luck on your ttc journey!!!

    CD 11 seems pretty early, but need more info. Did you BF? Were you on BC and coming off of it? How many cycles have you had since having your DD? Those things could affect your fertility. Are you temping, too? Maybe try temping and see if you can see the shift in conjunction with using your monitor to double check. 

    I'm having trouble understanding how you know ahead of time when you're going to ovulate? Are you basing this off of previous cycle lengths? If so, I wouldn't do that, because things can change drastically from one to the next even in a woman who is functioning normally.

    I think the CBE fertility monitor is different than most OPKs, it reads other hormones, not just the one the OPK's do. They say it takes a few months to get used to your body and it will get more accurate every month. If you want to be sure this month I would check your CM and use back up OPK's for the week you think you normally ovulate.
