yes, more than one stamp. 2 would probably work. DHs family all live in Ontario. I actually have DH mail them from work and buy stamps over there, but if you don't have that opportunity, I'd double stamp it.
if you only use one stamp, chances are you won't get the letter back, but the recipient will have postage due when s/he gets it.

really? so now you can just short stamp it on purpose and get away with it?? good to know before I send out xmas cards. doesn't make sense, but I'll go with it.

Yup, I've gotten stuff back that didn't have enough. Postage to Canada is .75 so two stamps would do just fine.
