So I had quite an eventful morning this morning.
I woke up around 7am, went to the bathroom and see bright red blood. It was ?everywhere?. I put that in quotes because while I probably thought it was everywhere it probably wasn?t as much as I thought. But when you see blood, especially after 1 miscarriage already, it freaks you out. TMI, but there was enough red blood to be in the toilet, in my underwear and when I wiped. So of course, I freak out, wake DH up and was pretty hysterical.
The doctor?s office doesn?t open until 8am, so I just wait to call. I get ready, knowing they?ll want to see me immediately. I finally get through at 8:01 and they can see me at 8:30. I go in and the nurse looks for the heartbeat with the doppler. She couldn?t find it immediately, and then says she?s going to get a different Doppler that is loude [insert mini freak out here]. She comes back and after a little more searching, she finds the heartbeat and I break down crying. The nurse examines me and can?t really see any blood, just brown discharge. At this point the bleeding had pretty much stopped. She sends me for an ultrasound. Luckily we immediately get into the ultrasound place. We saw the baby and everything was fine! Heartbeat was strong at 155 bpm. The baby was moving all over the place, you could see it kicking and punching. So they go ahead and do the NT scan since I was already there and it was schedule for next Thursday. Everything looked normal and we got a ton of cute pictures. So thankfully everything is ok and this happened today and not tomorrow when i'm schedule to be on a plane to orlando for a long weekend to visit the IL's.
