Is it possible to conceive if your cervix is closed? i read that its never really completely shut. And I also read that if you have an orgasm it opens up to 2cm.
what do you think?

Re: Cervical Position ?
I've never heard about the orgasm. I think if a cervix is closed nothing can get passed, I would think.
I know that once you deliver that your cervix will always be open.

Apparently, "they" say to have sex when you want to induce labor bc it opens the cervix. that's just what I've heard.
I have tried to get info on this topic from google all day at work and I can't find anything substantial. just thought i'd ask you girls.
I think I stumped the bumpies.
This is what I vaguely remember reading once.

I know an orgasm makes your cervix sort of rock inside the vaginal walls (this sounds weird, I don't know how else to say it) but I don't know about it opening it up. The "rocking" motion of the cervix during orgasm is what makes it helpful for TTC in what I've read. It kind of dips down into the semen that way.
Really, any reason to O, fictional or otherwise is OK with me.
