city mini chicco carseat adapter

So I am looking into getting the city mini double stroller, but would have to get the car seat adapter. Is this a pain to deal with? Does it stay attached to the stroller at all times, or do you have to attach it each time you need to use the stroller? thank you!

    I could be wrong or the product may have been updated, but I don't think the City Mini adapter will fit a Chicco carseat. I remember being surprised that it wouldn't work with such a popular brand, but then learned Chicco lacks that compatibility with a lot of things (even though it a great seat and brand).

    Just double check to be sure.

    To answer your question it can stay attached at all times (on the single anyway). It folds right up with the adapter attached. It's a little awkward, but we never removed it until we were completely done using it.

    I haven't used the stroller yet, but I bought the Chicco carseat adaptor for doubles.  It does make it bigger when it's folded up but it doesn't have to be removed every time you fold it.  I am planning on leaving it on there until DS#2 is out of the infant carrier unless I need it to be folded up compact like for a trip.
    After 2 years and 6 IUIs, we did it with IVF w/ ICSI!
    BFP with no treatment!
