So the couple we had over last night were super duper California stereotype hippies-vegetarians who juice their own wheatgrass, live by the beach, etc.
Oh and she's a Maori/Holistic healer who uses her feet to massage people and stuff . This girl grew up in El Salvador in the late 70s/early80s and lived in the jungle trying to escape the guerrilla warfare going on at the time. She never spoke a single word until the age of 6 because she was always in hiding and had to be quiet. Her life story is amazing. I was just fascinated by her all night. You can't really compete with that though, I was like, well, I grew up in the suburbs...
Anyway she was talking about TTC and how they heal infertility with all their holistic stuff. I'm totally skeptical but I also always think I might as well try anything, it can't hurt right? What do you all think? BS or worth a shot?
Re: One more post, then I have to work-Maori healing and TTC
whats it gonna hurt to try? We pretty much try anything else to get pregnant
My motto has always been - if it can't hurt, then why not?!
I try really hard to be open minded, especially when it comes to multicultural topics. If it works for people somewhere in the world, why not me?!
I am interested to hear your experience (if you don't mind sharing) if you do decide to go through with it!
Good luck!

Go for it! The Maori are a very old people and sometimes I think western medicine too easily dismisses the wisdom that comes from a culture evolving to survive.
FWIW, I've been working with a naturopath for the last 2 months and even those this pg didn't stick, on a day-to-day basis, I feel much more balanced and like I'm headed in the right direction.
I always figure if it doesn't hurt it's worth a try. And I'm interested in other viewpoints on health and healing.
I'd love to hear about your experiences if you try it. She sounds like a super interesting guest, at the very least.
