Super Easy Pizza Dip Recipe

For the girls that made it to the cookie exchange this is the one.  It doesn't make very much, so feel free to double or triple as necessary, but you may need to adjust the cooking time.

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley 1/4 teaspoon dried basil 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (divided) 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese (divided) 1 cup pizza sauce whatever pizza toppings you like (green pepper, onion, pepperoni, sausage, etc.)

Combine the cream cheese, oregano, parsley and basil in a bowl.  Spread the mixture on the bottom of a 9" pie plate or other shallow microwave-safe dish.  Sprinkle the cream cheese mixture with 1/2 c. mozzarella and 1/2 c. parmesan.  Layer the pizza sauce next and then cover with your favorite pizza toppings.  Add the final 1/2 c. mozzarella and 1/2 c. parmesan.  Microwave covered for 5 minutes.  Serve warm with french bread slices, crackers or tortilla chips.

Easy and delicious!

Laura, did you just heat the cocktail dogs in the crock pot, or bake them first?  I'm thinking you said 1/3 piece of bacon each and sprinkle with brown sugar?  What temp and how long?

  • I could hug you right now!!!

This is (or is very close to) an old Pampered Chef recipe that I absolutely loved and have recently lost.  I have asked every PC person I know, and it's so old they no longer know about it.  I have googled and haven't found the right one.

YAYAYAYYAY!!!  It is the very best dip every, esp for kids!  They eat it like crazy.

(Can you tell I'm a leeeetle excited????)

Thank you thank you thank you!!!
