My son actually had his done at 10m because they needed to draw blood for a different reason. The doctor didn't want him to have to be poked more than he needed.
I ask for one at the 15 month appointment becasue I was worried and I guess I had reason to be since he is high and now I have to figure out where it is coming from (I already checked our paint, flooring and soil all are negative)
Me DOR amh .64 ng/mL
DH Brain Cancer
BFP #1 12/11/08 DS born 8/23/09

Told IVF is the only option and have not found a clinic that will take me.
Our pedi gave us a questionnaire, and when the answers didn't scream "Lead Risk" he said we could opt out of the test (we did). He said he thinks people are getting too worked up over lead now, and they're testing kids who are at absolutely no risk just for the sake of testing. I saw no reason to have my son prodded unnecessarily.

Does he go to daycare, or spend a lot of time at another house (grandparents, friends)? Do you have any metal radiators in the house? Does he play on painted playground equipment? Does he have a lot of painted toys, especially those made in China? I would look into that stuff, those were similar to some of the questions on the sheet we filled out.
