Hi Ladies,
My daughter is 14 mo. and her pediatrician gave me a script to go get blood work done. It's probably just a baseline, but did anyone else take their child to get bloodwork done this young? The thought of holding her for a blood draw makes me cringe.....my DH is taking her. Thanks!

Re: Blood Work for a 1+ year old???
Someone asked this a few weeks ago and several people had it done, so I am guessing it's routine.
My guy had blood drawn at 15 m. for a different reason. The people there will know what to do. It was hard to watch because they had 3 nurses plus me holding him still, but it's quick. Good luck!
Go Phils!!
DD has had several blood draws and almost all of them the person was great! They got the vein first try! DD only got annoyed when they wanted to hold her arm straight!
Hopefully it goes just as well for you! It's always hardest of the parents!
