well i do- just in case you couldn't tell by the lack of pink in Sabrina's pics. anyway, i went to target during lunch and got me and the babe some boots for cold/snow. i got her "boy" boots! i'm sure there will come a time (though i really hope not) when she wants pink pink pink shiit so right now, when she doesn't care, she'll be wearing non-pink as much as possible. and my choices were soft pink, bright pink, or friggin CINDERELLA on top of the pink. or the boys boots- gray and/or black. it was a no brainer for me. i hope this doesn't come up in therapy later. ; D
Re: so i hate pink (the color), right?
Who does not need therapy these days anyway ; ) My two oldest boys favorite color was PINK! Ha ha.
My Blog

My favorite color is actually blue and I am not personally very girly girl. However, after 19 years of boys - dinosaurs, snakes, trains, planes and automobiles - I am wallowing in the Princess-iness of it all. Layer on the frou frou ruffled pink on pink pretty, pretty princess poufs. If she is half the tomboy I was, she will blak at it all by kindergarden so I need to get it out of my system now.
I read the other day that pink used to be the color for boys. I think it was a victorian era thing, not sure.
I agree! I try as much as possible to stay away from pink for DD, but it's near impossible. Who says little girls have to wear pink anyway?
Some of Margaux' stuff is "boy's" stuff. I'm one of those "gender is not binary" folks, though. There's some cute stuff in the boys sections!
One of my nieces had coloring like Margaux', dark hair and olive skin, deep brown eyes. My sister dressed her her in blacks and bold colors, she looked gorgeous... until she hit 4 and insisted on everything being fluffy pastel pink. Luckily she outgrew it, but eh, what can you do?
