I have graduated to another size of underpants.....THE HORROR!!!!!!!!!!!!
The new unders now resemble a tarp. Hanes attempted to dress the tarp-pants with funky patterns and bright colors. The bright colors in fact made them more tarp-like.
The upside? If myself and others were stranded in subzero temperatures I can use my underpants to block the wind and potentially save thousands of lives. I will be a hero and celebrated throughout my community and possibly the entire world for my selfless act of underwear removal and donation at the most crucial of times.
Re: E tu underwear? E tu?
OMG, this totally made me LOL. It was awesome! I have not graduated up in underwears, however, I really should, since they keep falling down.
Which begs another question... I'm not a thong wearer in general, and could not bare doing it during pregnancy... however, I know that not everyone is like me. Who is wearing them?
I usually wear a thong but since pregnancy I've shunned them. I switched to the cheekers from VS. Still cute and super comfy.
oh my goodness- that made me LOL.
ACM- i am (and i think will always be) a thong girl. i blame a housemate in college who convinced me they were the way to go.
i wore them throughout my entire last pregnancy too.
I'm glad that others can appreciate the betrayal I feel from my underpants. I have mixed emotions on style. Before I was a full coverage girl. Then I moved on to thongs when I needed to wear dress pants for work. Now however, I'm questioning the comfort of thongs yet again. I think (sorry TMI) since there is so much going on down there having a small strip of fabric all up in my business kind of wierds me out. I did purchase larger thongs too thinking that would help. But it seems like thongs in general make my nether-regions look like a squirrel wearing an eyepatch.
I think that boyshorts and hipsters may be my best option.

OMG, the visual!! I can't get it out of my head!! LOL!
OP--you are hilarious and this thread is full of win. I haven't upgraded yet. I'm still in denial, but cute lacy panties are definitely cutting into my skin a lot more and are NOT attractive.
And yes, I'm still wearing thongs on occasion, but they ride up more than usual and I usual go commando in PJs as soon as I get home from work.

I have been laughing reading this whole thread!
I've upgraded my undies too. They, too, look like a movie screen designed for a poorly filmed addict movie. The Hanes patterns make them oh so amazing. DH hasn't said anything yet, but I'm sure he's loving the show.
Love these! Mostly what I wore pre-pregnancy and now I've bought some a size up that I hope will stay with me and not make me hunt down a circus tent.

I graduated about a month ago when I thought I had a yeast infection. It was not a fun time, and I knew I had to get some "practical" underwear...i.e. granny panties. I haven't worn a thong in at least a couple of months.
And if you think this is bad, wait until after birth when you'll be wearing underwear that comes up to your boobs. That is awesome. I once went shopping with my mom before I had my daughter, and she told me I needed new underwear for after the baby. I thought I could get away with hipsters....well, as soon as we left the hospital after my c-section, I made my husband stop at walmart and buy me high-cut briefs.
