I got an email this morning from the local pet rescue that Ellie can go into a foster home this weekend. I am so sad to see her go, but so happy that she will be getting a better life not being locked away from the rest of the pack. I am so thankful for organizations like this

No....this dog is perfectly healthy
I read your earlier posts about this dog -- the one going to the foster home now. I didn't comment then, but seeing as how we've had a couple conversations, I definitely think you're doing the right thing. We have a very nice, but very energetic/boisterous Lab. I've always maintained that my baby comes first, and even if he's "just playing," no mouthing, biting, scratching, etc. will be tolerated. The same goes for the cats, but they're just curious and amused by this new "creature" in the house.
I know your decision is difficult, but truly, it's the best for your family.
