I'm so glad you posted this, I just ran out of stuff. Has anyone tried the foaming purity cleanser? I always get the regular but am intrigued by the foaming. Thumbs up or thumbs down?

So funny you ask about the foaming. When I first got it, I did NOT like it. I stopped using it for a while, and then just started again about two weeks ago. I now love it. For some reason, my skin is just super clear now and it gets all the ick off my eyes (eyeliner, mascara, etc.)
Maybe I should try it this time. Do you find that the bottle lasts as long as the regular? With regular hand soap from Bath and Body Works I always find that the foam pump ones go much quicker than the regular.
And really, if you think about it, all it is is a smaller amount of regular Purity mixed with a ton of water, and dispensed with a pump that foams it up. So it's kind of a rip-off actually.
I'm cheap too, so whenever I buy something (like foaming soap) that I know isn't worth the money, I feel dumb. Even though it's a conscious decision, because damnit, I love the foaming soap from B&BW!
The foaming soap from B&BW is fabulous but I only get it when there is a great sale going on...on a regular basis we get the Method soap, which I think I recently saw also has a foaming one. I'll have to look into that...
I buy the foaming stuff (any brand, really) because my husband is so weird and doesn't like the texture of the regular, more gel-like stuff or the creamy stuff. He calls it goopy and hates how it plops around on the sink. He is so freaking weird.
You could always buy a foaming soap dispenser and mix it yourself. Or recycle empty foaming dispensers. Just give your home mix a good shake every once in a while and you'll be good to go. Then, your regular facewash will last that much longer and you can scoff at Philosophy for having beat their system

I've done this with hand soap before. I think I learned this from Rachael Ray once, when she talked about using the last bits of marmalade in the bottom of the jar to make a dressing. She said, "BTW, you can also do this with foaming soaps".

I love a good money-saving tip!
I did not know this! I'll have to give it a try sometime! Thanks for the tip!

I have been using the same 3 B&BW foaming dispensers refilled with my own soap mix for the last 2 years. I just do 1/10 Dr. Bronner's and fill the rest with water. Now I am thinking about doing the same thing with Philosophy!

I'm intrigued! I wonder if I have a dispenser at home that I can try this with. It would be nice to have a pump dispenser, plus if I could save some $$, that's always nice.

No, it doesn't last as long.
