Rec. a [prenatal] Chiropractor, South Metro

Anyone have any recommendations for a good prenatal chiropractor (that takes insurance)?  Bonus points for any that roll acupuncture into the treatment (my insurance doesn't cover acupuncture by itself)?

I have a Dr. appointment today and will ask her as well but the last Chiro I went to I was not impressed by.  I seem to have come down with a pretty gnarly case of SIJ pain only 14 weeks into my pregnancy and I can hardly get up from a standing position.

I live in Farmington and work in Eagan so anywhere between those two works, Apple Valley, Rosemount, Burnsville, Lakeville etc.

  • I feel your pain!!  Mine started around the same time and I'm still dealing with it 8 weeks pp.  It has gotten better but some days are tough!  I see someone in Hastings which wouldn't be convenient for you.

Lynlake Chiropractic is a great and fun office with lots of experience in adjusting pregnant women and children! Worth checking out!!!

  • Thanks for the rec but Minneapolis would be too far to drive.  I did have an awesome chiro in DT Mpls when I lived up there but being as this is probably going to require multiple visits per week Mpls isn't really an option.

I did get a referral to a physical therapist so hopefully they can get me on track.

  • Hi, I'm new to board as we are just starting to think about TTC.  I see Dr. Betzina at Absolute Heath in Lakeville (by the movie theater).  I know that he does acupuncture and I've also seen pregnant patients.

  • Thanks for the rec.  Turns out I have a torn/ruptured disc in my L5-S1.  Boo.
