Indiana Babies

totally unnecessary but adorable purchase.

I have absolutely no reason that I needed to buy these for Ella, but I did. WTF am I doing? I need to stop.

They were in Lands End Overstocks - LE is having a promo (20% off $75+ and free shipping...plus ebates of course). I needed to get snow boots, but these ended up in my cart too. Oops.

  • SO cute. LOVE.

I also need snow boots in a major way.

It's like me with my new coordinated outfit obsession. Seriously, I have Paige's entire wardrobe for DD#2, why do I need to buy more clothes? But still... I do.

I keep thinking I need some kind of boots. I'm tired of wearing tennis when it's slushy and snowy

You totally do. I was so resistant to buying boots for the longest time, but then I realized that even if I spend a little bit of money, they'll last forever. I only wear mine when it's needed, and only for a few months out of the year. I've had mine for four years and you can hardly tell they've even been worn.

FWIW, here are ones similar to what I have for myself. I got them at Track & Trail during an after-winter sale. I think I paid $70 or $80...but again, four years and no signs of wear.

esp now that I'm "carrying" 2 babies when it's slick out ;)

  • Absolutely, Kathy! You need better grippies! And get something "real" for snow instead of Uggs or Ugg-knock-offs. I have slipped so many times wearing my Costco "uggs" because they're just not meant to grip well.

They're warm as hell, but a snow boot they are not.

Lands End has lots of really well-made snow boots for adults and kids, BTW.
