  They are very similar, in fact Amazon just purchased Diapers.com. 

  I would opt for Amazon because they have a wider selection and everyone under the sun (including my grandma) has an Amazon account  ;-)

  I am registering at amazon.com. I can manage it easily from here, plus lots of my family and friends live in a different state than where my shower will be. This will be an easy option for them if they want to buy me a gift.

  Amazon also gives you (I think) 10% off in the month or so before your due date off any of the items that weren't purchased off of your registry.
