I'm curious if anyone else is on the depo shot and has experienced strange side-effects?
We've been trying to pin-point the cause of this constant weird, kinda-dizzy, weak, fuzzy-brained feeling I've been having for months that only seems to be getting stronger, not better. At first we assumed sleep deprivation, but LO only gets up for a few minutes maybe once or twice a night, then they thought I was hypoglycemic, but that's not making sense either.
I read somewhere that the depo shot can cause dizziness, weakness, hot flashes (had these as well - thought it was blood sugar).
Does this sound familiar to anyone?
Re: Depo shot and dizzy
Yes dizziness is a side affect of Depo . Along with nervousness, loss of scalp hair , increase in body hair , leg cramps , decreased sex drive , weight gain, not able to loss weight , fatigue , nausea , and yes hot flashes. Also you should not be on Depo for more than 2 years because it causes bone loss . So I am not sure why I am taking It
