LO is transverse and we are looking for some low-tech ways to get him to move before considering a version. Any local recommendations? (We are in NoVa.)
Does your health insurance cover chiropractic care? Mine does, so I called all the local chiropractors to see if they had anyone who specialized or was certified in pre-natal. I had my first appt today. I'm not transverse, this is for my back, but the chiropractor was very helpful and inexpensive since I just had to pay my co-pay.

No coverage on chiropractic, so we'll be 100% OOP. I hope your back feels better!

Bummer. I felt great while I was at the office but now I am all sore - much like the feeling after a massage. I didn't realize how tight and tense some of my other muscles were until she started massaging. I go back on Friday. I am excited though, a lot of what we are working on is not my lower back pain but loosening my pelvis, which was a problem last delivery. I really would like to go med free so the relaxed pelvis should help the baby position correctly - that was ultimately why I had to have the epidural - DD's chin was untucked and she got stuck in the birth canal and the epidural or forceps were my options. Forceps just did not appeal to me.
Dr. Anthony Noya in Tenleytown has an AMAZING track record of getting babies into the right position. His waiting room is full of pregnant women - all three of his babies were born with BirthCare, too. Good luck!
