And I totally agree...Orion is light years (space pun intended) better than Ariel...I just think it's a little, I don't know...arrogant?...to name a child after a god. Or a constellation.

What about Anton? It's somewhat Russian-sounding, and it goes with Alina. I will admit that as far as Russian names go, I love Dimitri, Fyodor, Maksim, and Leonid. We aren't Russian though, and all of those names sound like crap with our last name. Bummer.

There are like 5 Dmitris in DH's family/peer circle, so that's out. Darn. We are also considering Nikolai.

Man, we haven't talked about boy names since I was 15 weeks pregnant with ALI. Need to take a look at the boy parts of the name books! I love all the ideas, ladies!! Keep 'em coming!

Well I of course like Nikolai since it's so similar to Nicolas. Our Nicolas is pronounced Niko-las instead of Nicholas. We call DS Nico.

Felix reminds me of the cat, and Yuri is too close to urine. It also has to be pronunciation-proof for Americans, so Danil is out (DAN-il? Da-NEIL?).
