s/o Holiday Cards...

BrideBuddies post got me curious, (since I'm not on any of your Holiday card lists!) what do your cards look like? Who makes their own, who buys store made and who has them custom made? Share your fabulousness here!

Here is ours-

I rarely like any of the templates they have pre-made and I'm always convinced that whatever one I pick will end up being the same one as half-a-dozen other friends, so I make up our own template and then have them printed....

Re: s/o Holiday Cards...

  • I'm ridiciously lazy and cheap, so I'll be going with the local grocery store chain's photo cards (they throw the envelopes in for free!) and a form letter.

Of course, I have yet to do any of it.

  • We're behind on everything, so we're not even doing photo cards.  I just let Margaux pick out a box she liked at the store.  She picked penguins in earmuffs.

  • Cute. I love that this is the pic that the little boy took and that it has such a fun story.

I love your siggy pic. Where in SLC (if it was in SLC) was that taken? A crop of that shot would make an excellent Christmas card also - esp. since you are in a green sweater and there is  a red brick background - not busy but has texture.

  • i wanted to send the top one but DH insisted on the bottom:

I love the first one! So cute! The second one is beautiful and classy looking, but the first one is funky and full of personality. :)

  • I'm not really sending many out but I decided to get ONE box of cards (with our pics) for close friends.  I just need to get stamps. LOL

    Here's our card:

Looking at it now (and it's been printed) I see that I should probably have added "Love" or "From" before our names.  Oh well...

  • I've been using Shutterfly for a few years now and really like them, they are fast and i'm really happy with their quality.  Plus I always get a $20.00 GC when we pose with Santa, plus free shipping and all sorts of other discounts I find on the web...so it ends up being really cheap in the end.  Here's ours this year:
