DH asked for undershirts and the girls are giving him those. That's kind of boring, so I ordered a few other things for them to give him. He loves his college alma mater and he's very involved in the local alumni organization, so the girls are also giving him an alumni sweatshirt and a hockey cap to go with it, plus a key ring for his stocking. I think he's pretty hard to buy for and am crossing my fingers he likes his gifts!
I always go to Hobby Lobby and buy one of those wooden picture frames. Abbie paints it and then I put a picture of the 2 of them in it. I was lazy last year and just got an I love Dad frame. I've also had her color him a picture and bought a nice mat and frame for it and gave it to him to hang in our room or his office.
This year I'm getting him a mouse pad from Shutterfly with their pictures from the kids.
i made a set of coasters and mug for him on shutterfly. they are making me mad though with their shipping right now, dont get me started.... usually they are great, then the one time i need something in a timely manner, it takes forever. bleh.
Um, I was going to have them get him a belt. Because he needs a new one. What a fun, practical gift, right?
This summer I got 8x10 canvases and painted the kids' hands in acrylic paint, made a set hand prints on each and wrote their names at the bottom. Turned out pretty cute and would make a good gift.
I'm also about to try doing a freezer paper stencil. If it works out maybe we can make something for daddy too.
I will be taking her to the men's dept at Macy's and having her pick out a shirt for her daddy. I'm very curious as to what she will pick!! The only thing I will help her with is finding the right size and asking for a gift receipt for him to return just in case!

I made a mug for him for work using shutterfly.
And if we get around to it Maddie will pick out some funny boxer shorts for him to go with it.

Nothing.
We just haven't done it yet.
If we did it would be something they made. He loves to hang their artwork in his office.
