Anyone else FF every 2 hrs?

My girls just won't sleep longer than 2 hrs at a time (it's exactly to a tee every time, except for now...they sleep about 3hrs-give or take). At night they sleep awesome and I"m very thankful, but during the day I feel like I can't get much/if anything done between feeding them, myself, DS, and playing with him. DS was the same way and even until he quit the bottle, he was only ever 3hrs in between. Please tell me I'm not the only one out there! They drink 41/2 oz every time and I am on size 3 nipples....no more formula will work...well here they go-3hrs exactly lol

  • My son FFs every 2 hours and it is exhausting.

  • Yes to everything you said. Amazing, huh? And of course we're using the expensive Alimentum formula, and 1 can doesn't last very long around here.

  • Me Me lol . Its annoying I cant go anywhere because by the time he eats ( he is a slow eater it takes a half hour ) , and then we get ready and all , and its time to eat again , then we have to get changed and everything , and once again its time to eat , its an on going cycle lol .
  • DS was the same way. Sometimes it was a struggle just to make it to 2 hours. At about 10-11 weeks he started taking better naps during the day and would sleep through the 2 hour mark so he finally started being able to go 3 hours or so. Even now though it's rare he'll go longer than 3 hours. Hang in there. I found that the difference between eating every 2 hours to eating every 3 hours was HUGE.

  • My daughter eats every 2-3 hours during the day (3-4 oz each feeding) then from 6-9 eats every hour and a half.  I'm glad to hear I am not the only one!

  • Yup, during the day he eats every 2 to 3 hours.  He will go a 6 to 8 hour stretch at night though, so I don't mind more frequent daytme feedings.
