So apparently my LO is a mover and a shaker because I lay him down at night with his head pointing North and feet South. When I come to get him in the morning (LO is STTN!!!) his head is pointing South and feet North and his little arm is through a slot of the crib. This happens every night like clockwork.
It might sound strange, but when I was say 12 years old I started to flip over in my sleep as well. Everynight I would go to bed one way and in the morning wake up upside down. Which is fine when you are 12, but I am so afraid that my LO is going to hurt himself, or his arms, getting them stuck in the slots.
"They" say you shouldn't use bumpers in the cribs anymore, and positioning things in the cribs anymore, so what should I do???

My son does the EXACT same thing.
According to "the experts," the chances of them doing damage to their limbs by getting them stuck in the slats is WAY less than the likelyhood if something happening due to the crib bumper.
My son ALWAYS squeezes himself into a corner of the crib, with his face pressed against the slats, so the last thing I want to imagine is a bumper in there for him to press his face into.
If it's not bothering him, I'd say don't worry about it. I always move my son to a different position when I see he's sleeping like that. You can always buy "breathable" bumpers too - they're mesh, so the child can't suffocate.
I have this breathable bumper...

Works great!
Bar tab = $156,000, Bus to Foxwoods = $0, Puking in the Stanley Cup = Priceless
I had one night where I got up three times because someone got their arm/leg stuck in the slots and started screaming.
Breathable bumpers were purchased the next day.
