Rough evening & night

So J got his 2 month shots yesterday. He took them well, but he was cranky all evening and night. We got home at 2:30, and I only put him down once between then and bedtime, and that was to eat dinner. All we did was nurse, cuddle, and let him catnap in my arms.

I didn't get him to sleep until midnight (he's usually down between 9-10), and I had to put him in bed with me, swaddled, and nurse him to sleep lying down. I'd never done this before. He slept till 3, woke and fed and finally slept in his bassinet from 4-9.

When I picked him up at 9, he didn't smile at me, which he always does. And he didn't smile at the hallway mirror or at the Wish Bear wall hanging over his change table (which DH thinks he likes more than he likes us).

He's back in his bassinet now, hopefully he'll feel better soon. I feel so bad for him. I wish there was more I could do.

    I just posted about 2 month shots.  LO had hers Monday morning.  She is now throwing up/spitting up (6 times now since the shots), she has ran a fever since Monday afternoon and  she does not want to eat anything. She had to sleep on me last night and her fever went up to over 101.  The nurse said yesterday it was normal but I've got a call in again today for her to call back.
