Now that we know the sex we need to hurry to find the bedding so DH can paint the nursery during his week off after Xmas. I already had girl bedding picked out (go figure), but I just fell in love with this from Target.

I'm just getting pieces, not the full crib set.

What room colors do you think? I don't want to do blue or tan (too many rooms in our house are already these colors.) I'm horrible at picking paint.

    What about picking up the peach/orange color?  That would look nice.

    I like it, it's really cute.  Perhaps you could do the green and yellow for paint colors?  Personally, I wouldn't want to do the orange, I think it would be overwhelming.

    I would do green paint, but a tad lighter than the color in the bedding.  Subtle but still adds color.  I love this site, you can find just about any bedding and they give you a couple paint color choices.

    I would do that sage green on top, a white chair rail, and then the dark brown or blue color on the bottom.

    Cute!

    I know you said "no blue", but my idea for a boy nursery is to do one accent wall in light blue, light orange & white vertical stripes (DH is a Florida Gators fan/alum) & leave the rest of the walls white (to accent with colored accessories).  I think it would look great with this bedding, too!

    But, if you're deadset against blue, I'm with the green crowd.  :)   GL!

    I don't know what to tell you about the paint, but I agree with PPs about the peachy orange color and/or a light sage green.

    I LOVE that bedding! Super cute!
