2nd + timers: What time of day did you go into labor?

I went into labor at 6 am w/DD #1. Also, all my girlfriends (that weren't induced or sched for c-sections) seemed to go late at night/early in the morning. Just curious as to whether it's more common for labor to begin during the night/early am hours or if that is just my experience. Anyone know?

Started having contractions that I could actually time at about 7pm. Went to the hospital at about midnight.

I started having contractions early in the evening and headed to the hospital around 11pm. Dd was born the next morning at 10:36am.

I was having menstrual-like cramps all afternoon into the evening and went to bed thinking I just didn't feel good. I woke up at 2 am to my water breaking...scared the crap outta me!

With DD#1 it was about 7am, with DS it was about 9pm

I woke up from a nap with broken water somewhere between 6:30 and 7pm. Lyla was here by midnight! Indifferent

I started timing my contractions at 7:30 pm and went to the hospital at about 12:30 am.

My contractions started around 8am with DS. Had him at 3:26pm the same day. I was having sportatic contractions the night before that stopped after I sat down and rested though.

Started timeing contractions around 5pm/7pm went into hospital at 11pm, sent me home went back in at 1am because sleeping pill did not work (told them i was in labor...lol) DS born at 7am ish.

I'd had bloody show and random contractions all day (starting when I got up around 7:30 am). We went for a long walk when DH got home from work, and I started having contractions 5-7 minutes apart when we got back at 5:00 pm. So I guess I would say I went into labor at 5:00 pm.

With #1 and #2, I had uncomfortable contractions starting in the morning and going all day (clearly not BH) which ramped up toward the evening.

#1 was born right after midnight (augmented with pitocin and had an epi) and #2 was born around 8pm, about 20 mins after arriving at the hospital (all-natural).

It was around 9 AM when I started having real contractions. We didn't go to the hospital until around 1 pm, though, when they were around 3-5 minutes apart.
