Hi everyone - has your child had roseola? We are now on day 5 with fever, day 2 of a rash. Still refusing solids, sleeping all the time. Doctor told us it could last 10 days! Tell me about your experience. I want LO to feel better so bad

    My little DD had it a couple of months ago.  I can't remember how many days it lasted but I'm thinking it was probably about the third or so day after the rash appeared that she seemed to start feeling better.  My pedi had us give her Benadryl when it seemed like the rash was making her uncomfortable, we only did this a couple of times but ask your doc if they recommend a small dose of it if your baby seems uncomfy.  Good luck, you should be on the upswing very soon!

    Hi...we just got over this.  Not to scare you but DD was actually hospitalized for dehydration..I tried everything to get her to take liquids.  She was admitted and put on fluids for 12 hours then she was as good as new.  From the time of the fever to her feeling better was almost 3 weeks.  

    Good Luck, it's no fun!!
