I haven't yet, but will be after #2 is born. I'm a lifetime WW gal and would be curious as to what the difference is for this plan. Is there still the core plan too?
It's completely different. You basically have to forget everything you've ever known about WW. Fruit is now 0 points (including bananas! yay!), but everything else is more points (my high fiber bread used to be 1 pt for 2 slices, and now it's 3 pts), etc. You also get more points per day, and 49 weekly flex points instead of 35. Calories aren't used to calculate points anymore. Instead, you use fat, carbs, protein, and fiber.
It basically "forces" you to make better choices (high protein, high fiber, low fat & carbs), to get more for your points. So far, I really like it. I hope it sticks. I lost 40 lbs once upon a time on the old WW, and have never been able to get that momentum back. Now I have to re-lose those 40lbs...ahem..plus some. I have had such a hard time with it since Holly was born and I returned to work. Hoping it clicks again this time.
Thanks Hughes! That sounds pretty darn good. For me - I LOVE counting points - I guess that's my inner nerd speaking. I almost excited to get back to counting points. Having gestational diabetes - everything I always knew and loved about WW was thrown out the window and I'll be happy when I can get back to some sort of normal!
Hughes-Jocelyn woke up early from her nap and I left this post open and she was staring at it, and I said, who is the little girl (Holly) and she said "Yo Gabba" ha ha!!
Interesting about WW, I lost 60lbs in 2004 and gained ALL plus another 20 back. UGG.

I really want to do this but haven't signed up. I'm so embarassed that I basically lost about 25 pounds for my wedding and pretty much have put most of it back on in the past few months.
Hughes- Are you doing it online or are you attending meetings? If you want a WW buddy, I'd be up for someone motivating me to get to meetings!

I'm doing meetings. I'm going to the Cary center at 12:30 on Thursdays. Let me know if you sign up!
Don't get discouraged--from your FB posts, it sounds like you're doing great with your running!
Re: Is anyone doing the new Weight Watchers plan?
What has changed about it? I saw someone else mention the new plan but it doesn't seem too different from the tiny bit of info the give online.
I have lost 40 lbs from my pre-pg weight but I have been stuck here for a loooooong time now. Like 6 months. So I need to get a move on or something.

Congrats! That is awesome!
Thanks! Unfortunately, I still have a long way to go.
