Howdy ladies,

I have a four month old baby boy and I am hoping to get two under two. I know it is early to really start trying, but I really want my kids to be close together. My question to you ladies is, how old were your firsts when you actually started trying for number 2.

We were planning for a 16 month gap, but things happened a little quicker than we anticipated so we're looking at a little under a 13 month age gap. I found out I was pregnant when DS was almost 5 months old. I'm honestly glad I didnt wait. I'm having the baby in 1 month from today, and DS is still in the middle of a really easy phase where he's really independent but isnt throwing tantrums yet. It's made my pregnancy a breeze. I'm hoping we can get out of the brand new baby phase with #2 before he really starts acting like a toddler. I had a c-section and my doctor said I did not have to wait if I didnt want to.

We tried as soon as our son turned one...LOVE the age gap...cant really imagine doing it as young as you seem to want to do it. Ours are 21 months apart...by the time DD was born...DS really started to become super independent...now if I had a one year oldish and a newborn...I think I would shoot myself...but everyone is different!
