She's not a big fan of milk and only drinks about 6-8oz a day (we also still BF).
She doesn't really put everything in her mouth anymore, just stuff she's not supposed to, like my keys, paper, fuzz off the carpet....
When I tell her no, she usually looks at me for a minute and then goes right back to doing what she was doing. Sometimes she smiles at me as she does it. Grrr.
TTC #1 since 6/08. Cycle #6 - BFP 12/22/08, EDD 9/3/09, DD 8/14/09 at 37w1d
He has approx. 25 ounces of milk over three servings.
He puts some things in his mouth, not everything.
He sometimes listens to "no" and sometimes doesn't. I posted yesterday, I am having a hard time with him hitting me, even after I tell tell not to...he has selective "no" comprehension.
DD just turned 16mths today and I've been wondering a few things...
- how much milk does your toddler drink a day? about 18oz
- does your 16mth old still put everything in their mouth? No, but she wasn't much for doing that ever. I just have to watch her with crayons.
- how well does your child listen to you when you say no? It depends on my tone. If I am all business she is pretty good at listening but then she will cry afterwards. I do not yell at all or even raise my voice but I am stern. She listens but it upsets her, however if I just say NO she ignores me.
- how much milk does your toddler drink a day? 16 oz, varies a lot
- does your 16mth old still put everything in their mouth? no, but when he is playing with something he's never seen before, he usually gives it an exploratory chomp
- how well does your child listen to you when you say no? I usually follow "no" with redirection; he understands what I'm saying, but like any toddler, his impulse control is pretty much non-existent.
uh, not always. It took a while this morning. She thinks I'm playing around.

- how much milk does your toddler drink a day? 14-16oz. DD isn't a big fan of milk.
- does your 16mth old still put everything in their mouth? Not really. She just likes to touch everything.
- how well does your child listen to you when you say no? She listens sometimes. A lot of the time she will look at me and smile and keep at what she is not suppose to be doing. I try to redirect her a lot.
