Yankee swap theme ideas needed!

So someone around these parts was talking about a white elephant thing, what we call a yankee swap. It got me thinking and we're adding this element to our Christmas Party.

I have some pretty funny, creative friends, so I'd like to have a great theme. Any ideas?

    The dumb American I am, I had to look up Yankee Swap. We call it a Chinese Polyanna around here!
