PINK!!!!
I am over the moon excited! I know I would have been just as thrilled with a baby boy, but I really (really, really) wanted a girl! We have a ton of little boys in my family (only 2 girls). And DH didn't really get to raise is daughter (she was 6 before she ever spent the night with him!) and I want him to have that experience.
The entire appointment was wonderful (minus the 45 minute wait - apparently there was some sort of emergency with another patient). The baby is healthy and weighed in at 12oz, all of her measurements were right on with were they should be and her heartbeat was 132. She wasn't as active as in past scans, but I hadn't eaten anything yet, so we figure she was just sleepy (and hungry!). My quad screen came back with really low risk for all of the disorders it screens for. My blood pressure was great - best it's been in ages & my doctor commented on how much less stressed I seemed. I guess not working is doing me some good! The only tiny concern (and it was the RN who seemed concerned not the doc) was that I've lost 2lbs since last appt 2 weeks ago. I'm not going to worry since the doctor didn't seem to be worried.
We didn't go shopping after the appt - DH worked an overnight shift and was exhausted. I think we are going to wait until after christmas and then make a day of it. Thanks everyone for your thoughts and well-wishes!
Re: Add me to team . . .
Yay!! Are you revealing the name?
We are 98% sure of the name we are going to use, and have shared with our parents - and one of my aunts, but probably won't announce it to the world until we are 100% sure. I will say, someone on here has a LO with the same first name.
Hooray! That is so exciting! Congratulations!
