dad is not well, so sad, the vent went back in! I wish I could heal him and take away my moms pain too...xoxox

    Egg retrieval 2/27 - 27 eggs, 24 mature, 19 fertilized
    Embryo transfer 3/4 - 2 beautiful, hatching blasts and nothing left to freeze.  Beta #1 461 9dp5dt. Beta #2 1230 11dp5dt.

    I'm so sorry to hear of this setback.  Like everyone else, I hope this is just a temporary hiccup in the healing process and that your dad is well soon.

    Keep the faith - he can overcome this!

    FWIW - my dad was in ICU on a vent for over a month last year after an emergency hernia surgery.  The surgery went well, but because he was a smoker, overweight, and general poor health otherwise, they had to reinsert the vent the day after they took it out.  Things were looking very bad and all of the kids flew in to see him for what we thought was a final visit.  And then - his stats began to improve and within a week he was off the vent.  I tell you this to let you know that my dad knew we were there...things are fuzzy and he doesn't remember specifics - but he knew we were there and he prayed and fought to come back.  I will keep you and your family in my prayers - and keep the faith.  Keep talking to him, keep talking about the future....this really can be JUST a set back.

    I just saw your previous posts.  I'm so sorry about this.  I hope they can take your dad off of the ventilator soon!  T&P's are with you!
