Moms with girls

We were given an adorable dress for Baby Girls coming home outfit--but I'm afraid it will be too cold to wear. Dh suggested tights, but I'm afraid they'll be a pain in the butt. What are your experiences with newborns and tights??? Should I just do leggings or dress her in a one piece outfit instead??

Re: Moms with girls

  • Tights aren't any more difficult than leggings, in my experience. We never did NB tights, but did do some leggings. Holly was born Jan 6, and we just put a cute little "warm-up suit" over a white onesie. Nothing fancy, but it was COOOOLD!

  • I would probably go with a one piece outfit-just because it will probably be cold. You can always bring the dress and tights/leggings and a back up if the dress does not fit right or work out. I had a few options to choose from in my suitcase!

This. Plus I hate the thought of tights with the umbilical cord stump. It makes me feels sick, ugg. I avoided anything with a waistband for 3 weeks, save the dress for cute photos!

  • I would use the cute dress for her hospital pictures!
