Ben almost spilled the beans!

We went to the mall today to get a gift for steve anf I told Ben he'd have to keep a secret. So when steve asked what we did today he said we went to the mall. I jumped in and said we went to the boats. And Ben chimed in and said "and we didn't get anything for you!!". Ugh. Although it was pretty funny that he thought to say that. He gave me a little look like "I did good didn't I??"

    That is so cute! When BIL and DH were little, they got a popcorn popper for their dad one Christmas. MIL kept talking about how it was going to be a surprise, etc etc. So FIL comes home and BIL says, "Dad we got you a present!" FIL says, "But you're not going to tell me what it is, right?" BIL says, "No, but I'll give you a hint: It pops corn." Big Smile

    My mom used to call gifts something else like a golfball retriever was an egg cooker.  That way if I told my dad or whomever, they would have no idea what I was talking about.  She also lied about the ice cream truck but that's a whole different story...

    Well this was a bumble stuffed animal from build a bear so I don't think I could fool Ben with calling it a magic pillow or something. ;). But that's a good idea for the future!

    Yeah the third floor is a kid play area that's all boat themed.
