We got a spot in Daycare!!!

Yay, not sure if many of you will remember me posting a while back that there is a 2-3 yr waiting list for the toddler age group in daycare around the city here in Australia - crazy right!

Well I am happy to say that a new center opened up last September and they were able to offer us a spot! Phew, you don't know how relieved I am as I was beginning to worry that I would have to decline my job.

We went to check it out today & it is an amazing center, great facilities and very friendly staff.  I love it and Coop ran off happily on our visit so I know he will love going there. Thank goodness we are all organized now!!!!!!!

    Hooray! That is such a stressor knowing you have to go back to work but not knowing where your little one will be going! So glad you have a spot and it sounds like a great place.

    It costs $91 a day but.....the government pays you back 50% of it every 3 months! So that's pretty affordable I think. Coop will only need to go 2 days a week so we are only ever going to be out of pocket $91 for the week - great deal!
