Hi all
Now that I have determined that my little guy does have some acid reflux are there any OTC treatments for reflux for infants? I will call my Pedi tomorrow but I need something to get me through the night. He has been in agony for a few hours now.

let him sleep in his vibrating chair, swing, or belly down on your chest for the night. that will help big time. Even after you see the doctor it will take a few days for the meds to kick in.
the best way my daughter still sleeps is belly down to my chest. the pressure helps her feel better.
For tonight just try things like sleeping in the bouncer. Our Pedi Gi said the most comfortable position for baby is for them to sleep on their belly, elevated (we lay DS down on my chest in that position).
Good luck at the appt. Reflux is hard. I have gotten a lot of good advice from other moms on this board. We are now on Prevacid Solutabs (tried Zantac, Axid and Prevacid Oral Suspension). We are also on Alimentum.
On a sheet our Pedi sent us home with it said (I think) extra strength Mylanta. I'm pretty sure that was it. We never used is as LO is on Axid and that seems to do OK for him.
