What is the best remedy for removing stains? I have two diapers that have stubborn stains in them. I've tried lemon juice and that helped a little, but the stains are still there, just lighter. I have been wanting to sit them out in the sun, but there has literally been no sunlight here the past three days. It's been really gloomy & overcast. Any other suggestions? TIA.

There was a thing on the knickernappies blog about sunning in the rain. According to what I read, the UV ray you need to sun out stains is still present in the rain. Other than that I have no idea.

I would say they should still work even with clouds. I'm assuming its the same principle as needing to wear sunscreen even when its cloudy. I remember going to a waterpark on a super cloudy day and ending up with sun poisoning.

sunning can help a lot. i have actually also found that since i switched to rockin green (to combat an ammonia issue) all of my stains have disappeared.

I've read on the boards (but never tried) that you can make a paste with Rockin' Green and water and put it on your stains to sit overnight.

you don't need sun to sun your diapers, you just need daylight. So even if it's cloudy and raining you can still lay them out and the UV rays are still in full affect!

you don't need direct sunlight, a cloudy day should do the same job it gets the rays anyways
