I agreed it was horrible, but then commented on the use of the C word. I got jumped on for daring to comment because the person deserved the word.

What did you do? That would have caused serious issues for me.

The really bad word where I grew up was mother's C. It was always said really fast and with a thick accent so I didn't know it even had that word in it. Other than that, no one has ever used that word at me.

I have the mouth of a sailor, I could probably make some of them blush, but I would never, ever think of using that word. It just sounds so... gross. Like it will rot my teeth out if I say it.

I can't remember why he said it, but I remember everyone around us (there was a large group, it was at a wedding) being shocked and disgusted. I never spoke to him again after that.
