Train Table vs. Train Set

I bought a used pottery barn kids activity table for $10 at a yard sale. My intentions were to buy a wooden train set to go on it for DS for xmas. I can't really find a set I like..I would like a playboard / mat to go with the set which I can't seem to find so I am think of just getting the whole train table w/ train set combo instead. I would only be out $10 though I love my yard sale find.

I am just ready to buy something so it will definitely get here in time for xmas. Can you recommend up stand along train set OR your train table set?

I really like the Ikea sets. They also have a road system carpet that's only $15.

Our 3 younger kids are getting this from Santa this Christmas! It has gotten AWESOME reviews on-line & it VERY reasonably priced. We paid $160 (in-store) back at the end of October & got an additional free 9-piece International train set with it. I can't wait to see their faces when they come downstairs Christmas morn & see it set up!
